Day 13 final sail day!

We actually started the day with the alarm set so that we wouldn't miss Bingo! We woke up a little too early, by mistake so at least we were able to head to the Windjammer Cafe for a light breakfast and a take-away coffee on our journey to Bingo. The $5000 jackpot was calling our name. Pity that we didn't win on that particular game, but no-one else did either within the ball draw limit, so it snowballed again.

Bingo actually went on for quite a while, as the initial buy in was very crowded, because of the jackpot up for grabs. At this point we needed to get going on some catch up blogging, so we headed to the Schooner Bar and it was nice to be serenaded by the Michael Jackson dance classes on the Promenade deck just below us. It was also a chance for our first cocktail of the day! Woot!

Bingo was rescheduled for the afternoon, to guarantee that the big prize would go off, as it was the last possible one of the trip. What the hell? We of course decided that we had to do this as well. So we pre purchased our cards, so that we could go back to final round of progressive trivia.....it was such a busy time for us. However, we were on tight schedule and so once we finished trivia and made the sad realisation that Team Rat failed again, it was almost a running pace to get our butts back for Bingo. Unfortunately, we were again losers, but pretty much came out about even with our wins and losses.

Did we mention that we were busy? The Bingo finished in JUST enough time for us to get to the Ice Games show, which was a story based on a Monopoly game themed for the Allure of the Seas cruise ship. We enjoyed this show. The figure skaters and dancers were awesome. It was a really well produced show with awesome costumes, great choreography and brilliant music.

So eventually after we left, we stopped in to grab take away pizza (Richard) on our way to the Park Cafe to also grab a salad (Tanya) for lunch. We ran into Jerry and Audrey and had a final catch up with those guys. We've met so many lovely people on the cruise and have been surprised that we have seen people on multiple occasions.

We had to pack, as they expect your bags outside of the door for collection on the final night by 11pm. We didn't want to have to go out for drinks and dinner and then accidentally forget the bags, so we got ourselves organised, which took the pressure off us.

Tonight was the final dinner on board the ship, which did not disappoint! It was a little sad to say our goodbyes to the staff who we had met and also to other passengers who we had also met along the way. On that note, after dinner we headed to the Majority Rules game show at the karaoke bar, which was being run by our friend April. It was also an opportunity to get a picture or two with her and to say goodbye! The game show was fun too.

Our final stop was against our old nemesis....the casino! We had a rest from it last night, but tonight it was welcome back amigos! We were going well for a while, but greed overcame us and they got all of our chips. In the meantime, we bumped into our other mates Liz and Bobby, as well as Maxine and Steve and caught up with those guys, whilst Liz was still betting. Being 1:15am it was definitely time to call it a night, as we had to get up quite early to disembark!
