Day 11 Sail Day

We've left this blog a little late and are struggling a little to remember what happened....perhaps that's the drop in brain cell count!!

We started the day with brunch at the Park Cafe, trying to blog, but as we were sitting outside it felt hot for us. We headed out to continue our blogging along on the pool deck which meant that we had some shade, deck chairs and some breeze.

We headed off to progressive trivia round 2, but struggled big time. We should have teamed up with our trivia mates Audrey and Jerry, who sat with us anyway. We'd met them initially at the first trivia that we went to which wasn't a progressive round. They didn't go to the first progressive round, but turned up for trivia two. They got ones we didn't get and vice versa. Poor old Team Rat was not back!

In the arvo we headed to the casino and our mate Terry gave us a couple of VIP drink cards. We actually didn't need it, but it was nice to be recognised! We'd spoken with Terry several times in the casino, because on the very first day we realised that he was our evacuation drill leader. After that we joked around with him and from then on, he came out of his way to say hello.

At dinner, we were seated in another new area. Tonight we were served by Erimel and also Mahammad from Indonesia! Woot, another person to converse with in another language. Apa Kabar Pak? He absolutely freaked out when the Indo started flowing! It was nice to use it.

After dinner and a few drinks, we headed off to go to the Quest game show. This was so much fun. The 8 sections of seating that looked over the ice skating rink (with a regular wooden floor down) were divided into 8 teams with two captains. Basically the host would yell out stuff or call actions for the crowd to bring out or do in order to obtain points. It was hilarious and we are so glad that we participated. Our team was second. It was certainly a nice relaxing and fun honeymoon day aboard the ship.
